About this Raddle

Catalyzed by the arrest of Rosa Parks in December 1955, the Montgomery bus boycott was a 13-month mass protest that ended with the U.S. Supreme Court ruling that segregation on public buses is unconstitutional. As the president of the Montgomery Improvement Association, which coordinated the boycott, King gained prominence as a civil rights leader at this time.
