About this Raddle

On October 30, 1967, King was arrested and forced to begin serving a jail sentence because he led a peaceful protest against unconstitutional bans on "race mixing" in Birmingham, Alabama in 1963. From jail, he composed “Letter from a Birmingham Jail,” which became one of the most important texts of the Civil Rights Movement.
